| AMS REALTIME Projects Micro |
 |
Some of you have expressed an interest in a version of
AMS REALTIME Projects with some of the more
sophisticated options removed. In the second quarter
of last year, we created two versions of AMS REALTIME
Projects - Projects Lite and Projects Micro. Projects
Micro is the version with the most functionality
removed.
The advantage is that all versions are compatible with
each other - project schedules created and maintained
in one version can also be created and maintained in
the other versions.
This means that you can have users with different
project management competency levels and/or
requirements using different versions of AMS REALTIME
Projects, while all the time remaining integrated via
AMS REALTIME Enterprise Server, AMS REALTIME
Resources and AMS REALTIME Solo/Web-Solo.
All versions of AMS REALTIME Projects provide the
following features: compatible with each other and with
the AMS REALTIME Enterprise Solution, multiple-
languages, multi-platform desktop access, print to PDF,
sorting and filtering features for activities and
resources, access to planned, baseline and actual data,
MPX open/save, access to user defined fields, and use
of multiple calendars (including fiscal).

| Beta Testing 6.0 - Progress |
 |
So far we have 20 organizations signed up to beta test
version 6.0. Five organizations are users of AMS
REALTIME Projects only, the rest are full solution users
where AMS REALTIME Projects or Microsoft Project is
the planning tool in use.
The final beta versions of all version 6.0 software
modules are still being internally tested. We are much
more concerned with releasing a high quality software
product than with trying to meet artificial deadlines,
and we're confident that you'll appreciate the result.
The beta testers should expect the full version 6.0 beta
software in the near term.
We are grateful to the clients involved in this testing
and know that the results will ensure that all our
current and future clients benefit when the release of
6.0 is made available.
Unfortunately, we already have our full quota of beta
testers for version 6.0, but there will always be a need
for new beta testers to get involved in future releases!

| Integrating AMS REALTIME with Oracle eBusiness suite |
 |
We are currently working with three clients to develop
interfaces between AMS REALTIME and the Oracle
eBusiness suite (in particular, with Oracle HR and Oracle
Project Accounting).
An engineering company in the Netherlands - Interfaces
are written and in the final stages of testing. Originally
this client was using only AMS REALTIME Projects. They
now take advantage of the full AMS REALTIME
integrated enterprise solution.
An engineering company in the UK - Interfaces are
written and testing has started. Originally this client
was using AMS REALTIME Projects standalone and not
connected to a separate implementation of AMS
REALTIME Solo/Web-Solo, AMS REALTIME Resources,
and AMS REALTIME Enterprise Server. They are
planning to integrate all the above in a revised AMS
REALTIME integrated enterprise solution.
A consultancy company in the UK - Interfaces are
written and testing has started. This client was using
AMS REALTIME Solo for time recording. They are now
planning to implement the full AMS REALTIME integrated
enterprise solution, using Microsoft Project as the
planning tool.

AMS REALTIME Projects - Global Alert - Have you ever
wanted to highlight a period in time which is important
to your plan in the Gantt chart?
Some clients use this facility to highlight a launch
window, a period of time where bad weather is
expected, or some other critical event.
To use this feature, simply create an activity covering
the duration of the period you would like to highlight
and select the activity. Then choose the color and
pattern that will be used for Global Alert activity.
When you select the Global Alert option under the
Activity Menu, the color and pattern of that activity
will display for that time period on the background
throughout the entire schedule.
You can have as many global alerts as you need!

| Project World BPPM Show London UK March 2004 |
 |
|
As many of you know we attended this show at
Olympia in London UK in March. The number of
organizations seriously looking for software solutions
seems to be on the increase and we are expecting to
make some good sales from the people who visited our
stand.
The number of software vendors at the show was
fewer than usual. Niku, Artiemis and Lawson were not
present.
We presented a rolling six minute introduction to AMS
on the stand via laptop and a plasma screen. The two
consultants on the stand were available to answer any
questions and to demonstrate the AMS REALTIME
Solution, Microsoft Project Integration, Release 6.0,
and our wInsight X12.839 interface.
