Reading, 8th August 2002 - Advanced Management Solutions, a market leader in solutions for Enterprise Project and Resource Management, has been chosen by The Turbo Genset Company Limited to supply the AMS REALTIME™ solution. The agreement incorporates AMS integration with their existing Microsoft Project 2000 planning tool. This is required to meet their resource management needs and time-keeping requirements.

The AMS REALTIME resource management (RTR) and AMS REALTIME time recording (Solo) components are to be integrated with Microsoft Project 2000, providing project managers and team members with the information they require to complete their jobs on schedule and to budget.

Programme Manager, Bryan Dullage, was asked to lead the project of reviewing and selecting prospective vendors. With an expanding product portfolio, TGC management identified that the effective allocation and management of resources across a range of multi-disciplinary development projects would be a key cost control issue. Bryan explained that AMS was chosen by competitive tender. TGC formulated a shortlist of 4 companies, from which AMS came out successfully. The main factors in choosing AMS were the established and proven product, the good fit between TGC requirements and AMS capability, the Price, delivery and product support.

Bryan continued “Installation of the AMS software, including the related consultancy and training services, has been completed in a very timely and efficient manner.”
